Address Maintenance
Overview
The Address Maintenance page displays details of addresses that have been setup for use within your system. Addresses are typically associated with either a bank branch, bank account or both.
Depending on a users permissions it is possible to view, create, edit and delete addresses within the application from this page.
Each row within the table represents a single address and provides a summary for it that includes:
- Address name (for identifying the address in other sections of the application).
- The address itself.
- Number of bank branches which are using the address.
- Number of bank accounts which are using the address.
Creating an Address
Pre-requisites
- None
Steps
- Click on either the '+' button in the header row of the address table or the 'New Address' button underneath the table.
- A new window will appear containing a form of fields to fill in.
Mandatory (required) fields have a red asterisk (*) next to the field name. As a minimum you are required to enter:- Address Name - This does not form part of the address but is used as an identifier for the address in other sections of the application.
- Address Line 1 - This should contain the first line of the new address.
- Fill in the other address fields as required.
- Once finished click on the 'Create' button.
- If the address creation is successful, the table of existing addresses will update and now include the new address.
Updating an Existing Address
Steps
- Locate the row that contains the address that you wish to update in the table.
- At the end of the row containing the address that you wish to update, click on the 'Edit' button (this has an icon of a pencil on).
- A new window will appear containing a form of fields which contain the current details for the address.
- Update the address details as required.
- Once finished click on the 'Save' button.
- If the address update is successful, the table of existing addresses will update and the updated address details will be displayed.
Deleting an Address
Steps
- Locate the row that contains the address that you wish to delete in the table.
- At the end of the row containing the address that you wish to delete, click on the 'Delete' button (this has an icon of a rubbish bin on).
- A prompt will be displayed asking you to confirm the deletion of the address. Check the details displayed to confirm this is the correct address.
- If you are sure that you want to delete the address click the 'Delete' button.
- If the address deletion is successful, the table of existing addresses will update and no longer include the deleted address.
